Hello!

I began smoking cigarettes at the age of 13. I remember that day so clearly. It was the beginning of August, right before my 14th birthday. I was sitting at a local park, and a friend of mine had me hold their cigarette. Curious, I took a few puffs. Little did I know that it would start a five year addiction.

By the age of 17, I was a two pack a day smoker of Marlboro Menthol 100s. When I was working at a local pizza shop, one of my co-workers told me I needed to quit smoking. He introduced  me to vaping, and that is where it all changed.

It was my 18th birthday. He had introduced me to the Kangertech Evod pen with 24mg (2.4%) cherry flavored e-liquid. The device wasn’t strong enough for my satisfaction, and I had upgraded to an Innokin MVP 2.0. When I upgraded, I quit smoking cigarettes officially.

A friend of mine was away for college, and started working in a vape shop while he was in school. He came home one day, and told me I *had* to upgrade. He took me to a vape shop, where I purchased a Sigelei 100w+ device. That was also their grand opening, and I had won their grand prize. Alongside my Sigelei, I won an authentic Rig Mod (mechanical mod), a Patriot RDA, two 18650 batteries, 24g wire, a bag of Cotton Bacon, and a line of e-liquid. I dropped my nicotine level from 24mg (2.4%) to 6mg (0.6%).

That winning was my adventure into vaping. I spent a year learning new devices, learning how to build coils safely, and with all of that knowledge, I landed a job working in a vape shop.

Four years later, I am now the manager of the vape shop. I’ve helped 3,000+ individuals quit smoking cigarettes, quit chewing, quit smoking cannabis, and quit smoking cigars. I have customers who age from 18-80, literally. I’ve grown to know these customers to the point where they are friends with me on Facebook and follow me on Instagram and are friends with me on Snapchat. If I see them in public, we have discussions. We’ve had customers bring us gift cards and cookies for Christmas. I’ve seen customer break down crying, thanking me for helping them quit smoking.

These relationships are absolutely incredible. Our whole industry is based on helping others. It’s incredible to see these people have their lives changed because of vaping. They can play with their children and grandchildren again. They can walk their dog again. They can exercise again. They can make healthier life choices because of vaping.
